Disclaimer

THIS WEBSITE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY.

Do not rely on any data presented on this website for route planning, fleet dispatching, load planning, or any operational decision involving vehicle height clearance. Posted clearance signs at the bridge itself always take priority over any data shown here.

Data Source: All bridge clearance data on this website is sourced exclusively from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) National Bridge Inventory (NBI) and other publicly available government databases. This is public-domain data maintained by the U.S. Department of Transportation and state DOTs.

We Do Not Measure Bridges: CMBMV LLC does not independently verify, survey, measure, inspect, or update bridge clearance heights. We do not send personnel to bridge sites. We do not operate survey or measurement equipment. We do not perform field verification of any kind. All data reflects what was publicly reported at the time of the most recent NBI data release.

Data May Be Inaccurate or Outdated: Bridge clearances change over time due to road resurfacing, repaving, construction activity, structural settling, seasonal flooding, snow and ice accumulation, load-induced deformation, and other environmental and human factors. The NBI is typically updated on an annual cycle, meaning months or years may pass between when a clearance changes in the real world and when it is reflected in the data. Some bridges may have clearance data that has never been updated since initial construction.

Limitation of Liability: CMBMV LLC, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contributors, data providers, and service providers shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, fines, penalties, injuries, fatalities, accidents, cargo damage, vehicle damage, bridge damage, infrastructure damage, detention charges, delivery delays, contract breaches, insurance claims, regulatory violations, or any other consequence — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon any data, information, tools, maps, or features presented on this website.

No Warranty: This website and all data, content, and features are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. CMBMV LLC specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

Not a Professional Service: This website does not constitute and should not be construed as professional engineering, transportation planning, logistics consulting, safety consulting, legal advice, or any other professional service. Nothing on this site creates a professional-client relationship between CMBMV LLC and any user.

User Responsibility: Every driver, dispatcher, fleet operator, and user of this website is solely and exclusively responsible for verifying actual bridge clearance heights before attempting passage. Verification must include reading posted clearance signs at the bridge approach, consulting state DOT and local authority records, and when necessary, physically measuring the clearance opening. This database is a supplemental reference tool only and is not a substitute for direct, on-the-ground verification and standard industry safety practices.

Acceptance: By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by this disclaimer in its entirety. If you do not agree, do not use this website.
